Pound Cake

Cream

• 1/2 lb butter
• 1/2 cup crisco

Add

• 3 cups sugar
• 1 tsp mace

Beat well and add 5 eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition

Sift

• 3 cups + 5 tbs flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt

Add alternately with

• 1 cup milk

add

• 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
• 1 tsp almond

Bake in 2 pans 1 hr and 20 min at 350 degrees.
