Almond Paste

  • 1 1/2 cup whole blanched almonds
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 1/2 c. sifted 4x sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Grind almonds and and combine with remaining ingredients and work with your hands to a stiff paste. Refrigerate in an air tight container.
