- 4 qt. sliced cukes
- 6 medium onions
- 1/3 cup salt
- 5 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp tumeric
- 1 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 2 tsp mustard seed
- 3 cup vinegar
Slice cukes and onions, add salt. Cover with ice cubes and let stand 3 hrs. Drain. Thoroughly rinse. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cukes and onions. Heat to boiling. Boil 1-2 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
