Butterscotch Pie

  • 4 tbs butter
  • 6 tbs flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup milk
  • 3 tbs caramel syrup

Cream butter and flour gradually, then add sugar mixed with eggs slightly beaten. Scold milk with 3 tbs caramel syrup. Cook with above until thickened.

Carmel Syrup

Caramelize 1/2 cup white sugar adding 1/3 cup boiling water. Then letting boil until syrup is formed.

Pie topping

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
