- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs milk
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 cup Mothers Quick Oats
Stir together flour, soda, salt and spices in a bowl. Add shortening, sugar, egg and milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in raisins and oatmeal. Drop on greased baking sheets. Bake 375 degrees.
