- 1/2 cup room temperature oleo (butter)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup raspberry jam (strawberry)
Heat oven 350 degrees
Line an 8″ square pan with foil and butter the foil.
Mix all ingredients together except jam.
Press 2 cups of this mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread jam into 1/4 inch of the edges. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top and lightly press it into the jam.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack before cutting.
Makes 24 – 2 x 1 1/2″ bars
