- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- pineapple rings
- cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 5 tbs pineapple juice
Melt 1/4 lb. butter in a frying pan. Add 1 cup brown sugar and mix thoroughly. Into this place rings of pineapple. Then put cake top on and bake 1 hour in a slow oven. Turn upside down on a platter to serve.
For cake top: Thoroughly mix 3 egg yolks, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 5 tbs pineapple juice. Last add the whites of eggs beaten stiff.
